Again.
I know. It feels like I just moved to my bigger booth at Camas Antiques a month ago. (That's just the "covid time frame" effect. I actually moved just before we entered lockdown in 2020)
Then, last January I added my little case space.
With all of my plans for organization at home and in my business, I decided I needed to go back to a slightly smaller booth space, (Thank God they like me well enough to keep accommodating my ever changing vision!) so I will now be moving back to the left side of the top floor to a booth just across from where I was about two years ago.
Smaller booth spaces can get by without super large pieces of heavy furniture, whereas larger booths really need a big piece or two to anchor them. I simply don't enjoy doing all that heavy moving and loading by myself anymore, and so it makes more sense to scale things back. (The goal here for 2022 is to work smarter, not harder...) Also, I think my banners and other paper goods showcase really well in the smaller booth space, so there's that.
I tackled the walls in my new space yesterday, and then today I will take all of the leftover Christmas and New Years things home to box up. Then I will be adding my ladder up top, along with my signage and goodies up top there. Finally, tomorrow I'll move my items, with lots of fun new pieces coming in by this Sunday. (Camas antiques will be closed Saturday, New Years Day.)
In other news, we will be spending a quiet New Years Eve at home, channel hoping between a couple of New Years Eve countdown shows in our comfy pajammies. What are you doing this New Years Eve?
