Well, a color change-up, anyway.
Remember this post from last year? I shared how I cut the sleeves off of a thrifted old sweater to make wanna-be socks from them to add a pop of color to my old vintage ice skates. I am hanging them in my own home this year, and I'm kinda still loving my Robins egg blue color way in the living room, so I went with that. Here was the process.....
I hung them by the front door on my coat hook, along with some mittens and a scarf. I'm ready to get my home ready for fall and winter, even though autumn weather is just barely hitting the Pacific Northwest. (We are currently enjoying sunny days all week in the mid to high 70s!)
I'm happy with the results, and I am now thinking I may just stick with my Robins egg blue this year for my Christmas decor, and keep the closer-to-traditional red, black grey and white for another year....
Speaking of Christmas, did you know that it is less than ten weeks away?!
How did that happen?!?!
