How cute are these tags, and labels and boxes and tubs?!
Bare with me and my glitter and glue adventures. It's my life right now, and I am in crafty heaven on earth, lemme tell ya. (The Harvest Market at Camas Antiques is this Saturday!)
Let me back up a minute before I get all into talking paper goods, and clarify that a little bit about what my "work" (Or looking-for-work) life is like these days. I had a couple of readers ask if I have now retired and am no longer job hunting since being laid off in June.
Oh, I wish, but no. Quite the contrary. I am job hunting, each and every day, but it's 2017, and you do your job searching...you do everything..every thing online.
In your pajammies, if you like.
(And I do like.)
Job hunting, career-job-level hunting at least, is all initially done online. You apply, send your resume and cover letter, and then...you wait.
And, wait some more.
Thankfully, I learned quite a few things throughout the previous bumps in my road of life. I am in a much better place, both financially, and, well, just life in general now. I am older and I'd like to think I am somewhat wiser too these days. This makes dealing with the adventure of being unemployed less stressful, (the older you get, the more things fall into a sensible perspective.) and that added benefit of job searching from my laptop as opposed to driving all over the Portland metro area in heels dropping off resumes on linen paper is a perk that I'm quite enjoying as well.
That all being explained, while I am job hunting, I am also able to spend time being creative, and that is a fabulous gift I am greatly savoring, and thanking God for daily.
Anyway.
That brings me back to today's post. Yes, yes, it is yet another sneak peek at one of the displays. I'm working on the Leftovers display today, and I am in love with it. I'll share all of it in a post later next week, but suffice to say that if you like my ideas on leftovers, and put them into action, your guests will be wow'd by the presentation of your take-home goodies, even if you're a...ehem... less than amazing cook.
The other exciting part of this is that the kit will be available three ways in my etsy shop; a download-printable label and tag kit, a hard copy kit of labels and tags, and the whole shebang, which includes the tubs, boxes and bags.
I think you're gonna like it!
