We had a new treat for our Easter breakfast this year. For Christmas, my daughter had given us these adorable little skillets (it came with cookie mix, for making chocolate chip cookie sundaes) and then, I happened to find two more at the Greed-Will about a month ago.
(Yay!)
Anyway, I decided to use the cutie-patootie little skillets to serve up individual berry cobblers as part of our Easter breakfast...
You simply combine the berries with a bit of flour, corstarch and salt, spoon it into the little skillets, and then top with a crumbled topping mixture of oats, flour, butter, sugar and cinnamon.
I popped it in the oven, and served it warm.... some of us wanted whipped cream on top, some of us preferred it unadorned. Either way, it was yummy!
