A grand time was had by all (especially me!) during my ten day stint with the grands in northern Nevada. Now, mind you, towards the end,ten days was an awfully long time for the kiddos to be without their Mom and Dad, (and vice versa) and so I decided we would make some baked treats and a fabulous banner to welcome them home.
Bronson informed me that he was not "into" baking, so Miss Isabelle and I made the cookies and brownies, and then Bronson helped us taste them.
I created a banner that spelled out, "YAY! YOU'RE HOME!" in my little Print Program. (in my excitement my apostrophe ended up after the "R"...) I designed the letters an outline style, with one letter to a piece of paper. Once printed, the kiddos each took half of the letters and colored them all in. (Bronson added some other adornments, but Isabelle opted to stick with crayons only.)
We then cut them out and strung them together. We then decided to hang them on the fireplace, which ended up being the perfect spot.
It turned out so cute, and it was a lot of fun for all of us. What do you think?
