I'm visiting the biggest little city for the next week, caring for my grands while their parents go on holiday to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary!
I fixed them up a little goodie bag of sorts for the plane ride, and I wanted to share it with you today.I got them some snacks (Chex party mix and M&Ms) and a deck of playing cards (in case they got bored on the long flight) and a little cash with a cute note explaining that it was for an in-flight celebratory cocktail.
A short while back my son asked me to text him an old photo from his childhood sports days, and I pulled open an old vintage suitcase crammed full of mementos, and began sending some photos. One happened to be way back when he first played Pop Warner football (Third grade I believe...) and low and behold, it turns out that my daughter in law was a little Pop Warner Cheerleader on that very team. There she was, in that photo, from so long ago!
I decided to incorporate that photo onto the goodie bag as well...
(On a side note, with Reno being a place with such a small town feel, many of the other children in that photo are still friends of my son and daughter in law today, and in fact, we discovered that The Other Tracey's daughter is in the photo too!)
