...and I'm as giddy as a school kid.
(And, even better, unlike school children, we don't actually have to "make up" snow days!)
We got another crazy winter snow storm here in the Portland Oregon area last night, and it is still snowing as I write this post. So spectacular to look at. A peaceful, white blanket of undisturbed snow surrounds my little cottage, and I am having a hard time tearing myself away from the windows to focus on anything else.
The entire Portland metro area is pretty much shut down, and that gives us all a free pass to stop, enjoy the beauty, and the quiet, and just pause the incredibly fast pace we all seem to live at for a few moments. A chance to appreciate the life we have.

I think I could handle an additional snow day tomorrow.
