You know, when I was talking last week about giving my self way to long of a do-list before entertaining, one of the things on that list was to buy pansises and get them all potted up.
Well, I got that done, the day before the first round of company arrived.
(Yay, me!)
Pansies and graniums in the front yard, by the thrifted (way back a few years ago, in the Biggest Little City) Adirondack chairs, and on the porch. Pansies in pots on the back deck. Fabulous lil' splashes of color!
(So proud of myself.)
Then, I meant to take some photos.
But I forgot.
(You're shocked, I know.)
Then, this past weekend, the sun came out again (we've been having winter-spring here in the Pacific Northwest in case you don't live here and are outta the loop.) and we got the lawn mowed again and things are looking so spring-time-y-cheery, and I remembered to snap some pictures.
Well, a picture.
Actually, I got two decent shots. So pretty, and full of color, and life. I'm ready to be outside each day after work to enjoy spring.
And the sun.
And pansies in pots.
How about you? Has sprintime weather arrived in your neck of the woods? Have you started foofy-fying things up outside where you live?
