I was online one day, about...oh, four months ago? Five? Maybe even longer than that.
(It doesn't matter exactly when this happened, just that it was a good while back.)
Anyway.
I came upon this picture on someones Pinterest Board, and I thought to myself, "That's just exactly what I need to hang in the house somewhere! It's a Beatles lyric, and it's rustic and vintage and perfect. Too bad I can't find one like it around here."
I then realized the picture had been pinned by a friend up here in the Pacific Northwest. I commented on the pin when I pinned it, and low and behold, she wrote a comment back, saying that it was at a recent faire, and was made by yet another junker friend.
While I was tickled to know who created the piece, I was a bit disapointed at the same time, as I could only surmize the cute sign had sold at the fair, especially the way she had it propped up so cute in the back of that truck-bed!
Time passed.
I kinda forgot about the sign. I even toyed with the idea of making my own, but...well, I like that one.
I went to Monticello one day with my daughters, on a lil' inspirational home decor trip, and as I was browsing through the Salvage Garden area, there it was. A sign that looked oh-so-much like the one I had been lusting for.
No.
Wait.
Not oh-so-much like. It was the sign. Right there.
Waiting for me, I think.
Wow.
Meant to be.
I love it when stuff like this happens, don't you?
