I just moved. I am still unpacking. It was Thanksgiving last week. The dog ate my homework.
Okay, they're all feeble excuses for why I am re-posting this fabulous lil' online kit from last year as today's blog post. (Actually, I just thought this kit was worth sharing one more time, since I got it out so very late last year.)
I had this charming idea, back...oh, about October a year ago, to make a Noel banner for my fireplace (since I already knew I was going to have a fireplace way back then) and a sweet little Peace on Earth template, and I am pretty happy with the way they have turned out, even if the photo of my vintage picture frame with the words "Peace on Earth" hanging from the picture wire came out kind of looking like my wall is slanted, and for some silly reason, you can't see the fabulous glitter I added to the pieces.(Trust me, it's there.)
I also used the word "Peace" on some votive canf=dle holders with vintage book pages and I am pretty happy with the way they turned out as well...(In my top photo of this post)
The best part about these banners and letters is that they print up in no time and can be assembled lickety-split in time for Christmas eve or Christmas day. (I am especially fond of the Peace on Earth squares, since I found two different ways to use them.) Both templates may be printed on any paper you choose, or on the vintage book page template provided in the kit, so different types of looks can be achieved, depending on your decor.
