You know, it takes a lot to tick me off.
Well, today I am ticked. Big time. I woke up today to find an email in my inbox form Erin (one of my fabulous readers-Thanks Erin!!) telling me that a website, a website promoting a supposed "designer", was using a photo of my work (in fact, it's the photo above) on her website's homepage, which, by the simple fact that the photo was there,on her homepage, implied to the viewer that it was her work! (I'd share the link, but I don't want to promote traffic to her site)
I was, of course, furious, and emailed the woman right away, telling her to remove my photo immediately. She had several photos on her homepage, and I am guessing none of them are her work. Now, keep in mind, this was not just some random blogger sharing a photo of a chair she had seen and liked, but a professional Design Website, showcasing other people's work, leading the viewers to assume that it was all her design work.
Tonight I will figure out how to add a watermark to my photos to hopefully help protect them from this happening again.
Sheesh. Some people.
