I get daily emails with motivation notes each day in my email inbox. They're called Tut...A note from the Universe. They're little bits of food for thought, kind of like messages from God, and it constantly amazes me how appropriate the message can be to what's going on in my life at any given moment. Here's what today's message said:
Even when the earth suddenly shakes, tides unexpectedly surge, and all hope seems lost, in the split second that follows I have a brand new plan, I know what we'll do, and I've got the pedal to the metal.
Just get back in your saddle and ride,
The Universe
Wow. Pretty profound, given the day I had yesterday. Today I'm calling Jed, the oh so incredible handyman to have him turn off the gas and put my washer and dryer in the garage so I can paint the laundry room my favorite shade of Robin's egg blue. I'm going to finally install the black and white checkerboard stick on tiles I bought nine months ago, before I listed my cottage. Now that I know I'm not moving within the next year, I'm going to get back to the business of nesting.
I'm gonna bloom where I am planted, and live where I live, baby.
