OK, that's not even close to the truth, but I do love my newly foofified laundry room. Please overlook the fact that my washer and dryer are outdated and ugly vintage. (OK, while they may not be pretty, they sure work hard for me.)
Aah, the warm Robin's egg blue walls. (Remember, in my world, step one is almost always "Paint it Robin's egg blue") Such a pleasure to see through the French door after nearly two years of looking at the scuffed up white walls in there. The cheery black and white checkerboard floor, done with stick on tiles, just makes it all come together. I had a checkered floor in my last laundry room too, but it was a sheet of vinyl. I'm all done with the tiles except for inside the pantry. (I'll finish up in there later this week.) These were so easy to install and so affordable. Now, let's see how they wear.
Oh, and how about the new sign on the Pantry door that's just inside the laundry room across from my washer and dryer? (made with my Silhouette of course!) It's all cuter (...more cute?) than I even imagined.
I swear to you, I could just hang out in here half the day if I had a laptop.
