I showed you this a couple of weeks back, remember? I wasn't sure at all as to what I was going to do with it. I just knew that I loved it. The nice lines, the carvings, and the small crack in one arm all made it feel very vintage to me.
I don't know how to upholster, and I didn't see a way that the sewing queen could slipcover it. After much thought, I decided to throw caution to the wind and paint the sweet little thing, a'la' Elizabeth Maxim. Once it was painted, I knew it must be antiqued. I began antiquing it, but by then I was pretty tired (and it was nearly midnight) so I will have to finish it up tonight. I have no doubt that after a few more vintage touches it will be perfect.
