Thanks so much for all of the well wishes and congrats notes on the latest big wedding announcement. I'm so excited that I got to share it with all of you!! (The picture is of a little sign and banner I made for the back door to greet the newly engaged couple as they arrived at my cottage Friday afternoon, since I was at my grown up job and not there to say it in person!)
The new bride-to-be and her beau took off early yesterday morning after we all had a nice family celebration dinner and send off the night before. I stood in my robe in the garage waving goodbye and managed to not cry till they were out of site. (I'm gonna miss my sometimes-Sunday-night-slumber-party-buddy so much!)
Mom tears. One stage of life ending, one beginning. So happy for her, for them both. Love really does change everything.
