The oh, so terribly romantic chandelier I thrifted a couple of Saturdays ago has now been painted a fabulous white. I plan to antique it (more my style) but yesterday in the mail I received the latest Brocade Home catalog, and what do you think was in it? This.
Wow. Hard to tell the difference in quality, wouldn't you agree? The first picture is a chandelier from the Brocade Home catalog, weighing in at a whopping $499. (plus shipping!) The other one, pictured up on top of my post and on the right, was a mere $15 from a driveway in southwest Reno, with $3.97 thrown in for a spray can of Kilz, and $2 worth of Christmas garland crystals from WalMart , bought two Christmas' ago, bringing the grand total for my thrifted chandelier to $20.97.
Ooh, I love it when it works out like this, don't you?
