I've been crazy busy the past month and a half, both at work and home. My department at work is short-handed and family time has been jam-packed with two milestone birthdays, (number 6 grand babe's first, and the Sewing Queen's big eight-oh!)along with a short vacation to Kansas City, MO, (We got to go to our first "away" Mariner's game!) and then a girl's weekend at the beach, followed by a five day business trip.
I feel like things are starting to settle down a bit on all fronts, and my mind keeps flooding with ideas for my little booth case at Camas Antiques.
Tomorrow is the monthly "First Friday" in my sweet little Camas, and that means that all the shops will stay open late, and the community all comes out to meander up and down 4th avenue. I want my space to look good and be completely crammed full of eye candy.
My passion for creating little somethings (banners, tags, flags hats...) has been reignited and I am looking forward to revamping things in my space at dealer's night after work today. It's funny to me how creating one item inspires another and another, and the energy, excitement and inspiration grows.
Sometimes it gets so I can't even fall asleep at night, because my mind is reeling so.
All in all, not a bad problem to have.
