One of the guys I work with came into my cubical Monday and had a small box wrapped in brown craft paper. Clarence, our beloved 81 year old mail room guy, was retiring, and there was a party in his honor later that day, and they had wrapped his present but felt it needed a bit of foofifying.
Everyone seems to come to me for things like this.
That always makes me smile.
So I obliged.
Only this time I didn't have much to work with. I found a strip of green raffia in the bottom of a drawer, and a few dictionary pages I had brought in a while back for a project.
The picture above is what I came up with. My signature torn paper bows took all of 4 minutes.
My friend was happy and told me he knew he had come to the right person.
That made my day.
