No, it's not another grandbaby.
It's kind of exciting though.
I went down to Camas Antiques a couple of weeks ago after work. You know, I have been feeling this creative stirring in my soul for a while now, and when I popped in the shop to visit with Clark one evening, it became clear that what I wanted...what I was longing for...was to get back into my vintage-booth-junkin' groove.
But not in a big-as-in-large way.
No. In a big-as-in-best-I-can-be way. I decided that what I might really-truly-maddly-deeply love was a small space.
Yeah.
So, a couple of days later, I headed back in to sweet lil' downtown Camas and talked with Joanne, the owner of Camas Antiques.
Be still my heart.
She gave me a fabulous built-in case along the wall.
My mind is absolutely reeling with ideas for displays and items, and junk, and all sorts of wonderfulness.
If you live nearby, pop on in and see my sweet lil' space. It's a slice of vintage heaven.
*sigh*
Somebody pinch me.

Congratulations! I'm excited for you! Wish I DID live up there so I could stop in and see your little space. My sisters and I share a booth space, but our rent just went up considerably, and now we are having to consider moving into a much smaller space. Downsizing SEEMS like a good idea at this point, but oh, how I will hate giving up our nice, large space if we decide to do that.
I am wishing you the very best of luck with yours!

The first thing that came to my mind was, "She's baaaaak!".
How grand and wonderful to get
"your soul on".
I'm going to take a road trip and visit.

Wonderful news. You are soooo creative and I've been enjoying following your blog for years. Someday I hope to get to Camas Antiques and see it all for myself. Until then I really enjoy the pics of it you share with us.

Such good news! I've missed seeing your booth in your blog -- so many ideas for ways to use antiques and display them in the home. Glad you're back . . . even if it's just in a small way!

I'm just now catching up on my blog reading, so I apologize for the late response, but....YAY! Your mini booth is gorgeous. I'm sure that the owner of the shop would have opened a closet so that she could have your cuteness in her shop :)

Ohhhh, YEA! I posted sadly when you closed the booth, because my sister and I wanted to visit sometime. Now we will be there for sure, this spring, from Auburn and Renton, with mother and daughters in tow! GREAT NEWS.
