I'm Co-chairing the plans for our Annual Company Picnic this year. Our picnic will be held at the end of July, and we wanted to make some memorable Save the Date cards for the staff, along with sending them all a calendar appointment.
I just had to share the steal-of-a-deal I found for us on the Oriental Trading site! We got the cutest lil' pinwheels, for about thrity five cents each.
Oh! And they had larger, striped coordinating pinwheels available too!) They come in boxes of 36, with nine of each color-way.
We got colored paper in coordinating colors and printed our Save the Date info on them. We then punched holes to hold the pinwheeels, and added a coordinating lil' tag that read "You're TOTALLY invited." to each card for fun.
We made 140 of these babies, and took them around on a big cart, hand delivering them to everyone at the company.
Neeedless to say, they were a big hit with everyone. Like I said, we used our pinwheels for our Save-the Date cards, but these sweet lil' pinwheels would be perfect for a baby shower, or a child's party as well...even attached to a summer BBQ invite. Oh, the possibilities are endless! Anyway, I figured that if I liked these, you would too, so I just had to share!

I love these.... and the colors are perfect for summer events.

I am in charge of the prom at my high school and I ordered so many cute supplies from Oriental. I love to go to their web site and look around. Great deals and (usually) such quick service! I will have to check these out. Lori L

I love these, Tracey! So, so cute! I would definitely attend this event based on these Save The Date cards...I'd have to see what was in store for me if the cards were so dang cute!

Totally brilliant! These are so incredibly cute! They'd actually make me re-think my attitude on company events.
