I cant wait to see how you handle the shutters on the slider doors. I have them off the kitchen and I hate mine. Ive been saying I would like shutters to add warmth in the winter and shade for the summer. I have antique shutters in the front rooms of the house....but cant figure out how to do it so its not a pain letting the dog in and out. That breakfast sure looks tasty!!!Welcome back! How did your mothers move go? I cant wait to hear how she likes her new home sweet home.Kathy

Wonderful transformation! Could I ask where you purchased the shutters? We are at the point of our remodeling where window treatments are my next huge decision - shutters could be the answer!

Thank You!~~Dona

Tracey

Dona,
The shutters were from a local company (Comfort Shutters, in Vancouver, WA) but if you simply google Plantation Shutters and your town or city you'll find many companies. Lowe's, Home Depot, JC Penneys and other big stores with window covering departments carry them. They are all custom fitted, so be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks for installation! (Well worth the wait!!!)
