Such a fun time! A line of shoppers waited for Camas Antiques to open yesterday for the big Birthday Bash. (Of course I forgot to have my camera out at that point...) There were lil' favors, and music, and lots of oohs and aaahs heard round the store. Oh, and my favorite shopper came by, which made my day even better...
I must admit he was more into looking at the choo-choo train up high in my best buddy at Camas Antiques booth, and in eating his Cheerios snack than actually shopping for vintage treasures, but he was such a good sport...
The birthday celebration continues all weekend at Camas Antiques, and Friday when I was helping out I snapped a few more shots of some of eye candy for you. There are so many great looking booth spaces that I thought you'd enjoy taking a peek at....Billie's booth is always a favorite... and there are some new booths in the basement that are absolutely wonderful!!!
My Best Buddy from Camas Antiques was masquerading as a salesperson while stealing pieces of cake working with me, and so my day was pretty near perfect. (He was the icing on the cake so to speak)
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Thank you for showing so many booths at Camus Antiques. Its always a treat to see how other's set up their spaces (yes I have a booth in a mall). Great stock.

Hi Tracey! I would def have been there if I lived closer. Everything looks scrumptious: the booths, the cake, the Best Buddy... ha ha! I spent my day thrifting back here in Reno. There's a new shop called "La Garage". Actually a consignment store, but there's a good selection of vintage items and the owner keeps the prices low to sell. I scored 7 old bobbins and a nice mason jar with the zinc top. You'll have to check out the store next time you're back in town.

Tracey,
I love that big farm table in the first "eye candy" shot...is that yours? Do you know how much it is? Your blog is so great! Thank you.

May I say that your grandson is incredibly handsome? My grandson is also-and that's not just his gram's biased opinion. Many people have commented on what a "gorgeous" little boy he is. Yours looks so much like mine that I just had to comment. Congratulations on your successful day and most especially (as we say in the South) on your spectacular grandson!

Doesn't get more perfect than that!
What a fun place to shop. That looks like a one stop place to get whatever your hunting for.
Thanks for the photos!

Your pics of Camas Antiques is enough to make me want to move north! But then again it wouldn't take much to inspire me to do that now anyway. But boy, you sure work in some fun places and do some fun things! Plus you get to eat cake and be accompanied by an adorable cutie pie! And of course it's always fun to have a "Best Buddy".

Do you know what the gifts given were to the first 50 visitors? I'm having a spring open house at the store in April and need ideas. The cake and the booths both look delicious!

The treat bags were cute lil fabric drawstring bags. I think they had some yummy chocolate candy in them and I am not sure what all else.....

I enjoyed seeing the "icing on the cake". I think you are having fun. That's a GOOD thing.
