I know I just shared pictures of my new little kitchen, but after living with it for a few more days, I decided it needed a bit of cheery-ing up this year. While I adore the pale Robins egg blue and cream colors, I realized that I wanted a pop of color. My number one daughter added red to her holiday decor this year, and I thought that might be just the thing to bring some punch to my holiday decorating as well, so....
I added a few pieces of red polka dot and gingham ribbons here and there, as well as some cotton dishtowels, and...voila'! Lots more energy and a bigger feeling of Christmas in my cozy lil' place, don'tcha think?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in your kitchen, Tracey! I like the little touches of greenery and ribbon. Just the right amount of holiday cheer.
I used your wonderful photo storage box idea and wrapped some gifts. My friends loved the fun look and creative idea. I suggested that they take a gander at your blog to see more great ideas. Thanks again for sharing!!!
Merry Christmas!

You have shown us all, (especially those of us who live in teeny, tiny homes), that a little attention to details makes a world of difference. Just by adding ribbon will add just the right touch.
You are making a differece and not just your home.

How about a red bow on the wreath in your window??? you could always change it back after Christmas. I can relate to tiny kitchens, because I too have one!!

It's always the little things that make the most difference, have the most impact. You've done a fantastic job "kozying" up your kitchen!

A splash of red always looks cheery and fresh. Just the simple touch of candy canes changes the whole feel. Very nice.
