...and you sure can feel the Christmas spirit at my daughter and son-in-law's home! I took my camera with me one day earlier this week and snapped a few shots to share with you.
Looking back toward the front door, I love looking at these two giant flannel stockings (discovered at Monticello!)hung from the wall sconces... ...and you might remember this banner from Monticello's as well. It found it's way to the kitchen window, where it will welcome everyone through the season...
Not my best photo, but the dining room is my favorite part of their home, with it's wonderful big windows and hardwood floors. The wreaths add such a festive touch!
...Oh! Did you notice the adorable "time out" chair? Not that any little man I know ever needs to be in time out, but it's a cute touch anyway. (Carter's Mama added the words to the vintage twin headboard turned-chair (found at Camas Antiques a while back) by using her Silhouette tool, 'natch!)
Oh yes, Christmas is most definitely on it's way.

Your daughter's house is gorgeous - she has your decorating style and talent. I would love to see a better picture of the knitch above her door with the suitcases! Thanks for sharing pictures of her home.

Hi Tracey! I noticed the suitcases above the front door also, and am guessing you had something to do with that! We miss you here in Reno! And, please tells us inquiring minds (or busybodies!), do you have a boyfriend?

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree Tracey, your daughter's home shows her mama's influence on the art of decorating a welcoming home. Please tell her how much I enjoyed seeing her welcoming home. Merry Christmas.
