I CANNOT believe your post today! It's neighborhood cleanup in my area and I passed up (several times on my walks) those identical sheered shutters! I kept thinking about them and what I might do with them (trying so hard not to bring something home unless I really had an idea for them) and when I finally got the courage up and the idea up - I went back (after seeing them there several days) and someone had already scooped them up. I keep telling myself that if "ya snooze ya lose" and then your post was almost AMAZING! But I know you live on the other side of the country from me. :)

Nice use of those shutters. LOVE the italian clips and always love vintage pictures. Beautiful display! :)

Love it, Tracey!!!! Don't think I'll be passing up any kind of shutters ever again.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Wonderful corner vignette.I love the blue suitcase for storage. I always looking for good ways to store things.
Again the "old book or magazine" wallpaper is perfect and really adds to the whole look.
Have you seen page 29 of the latest issue of 100 Ideas~Flea Market Style magazine? I'm collecting ideas for old newpaper and books etc. It's another idea.

Cathy

Do you have my old blue Samsonite suitcase? Only kidding - but I did get a set like that when I graduated from high school many, many years ago!

Kathy

Have you sold the lovely shutters, Tracey? If not what is the price? Can I send you a check?

Tracey! I think I've figured out how to follow Typepad blogs. Once I did that I started scrolling through your recent posts and found this one. Camas Antiques is one of my MOST favorite spots to visit when I am out in SW Washington staying with my parents! I have purchased so many sweet things over the years from this great shop. So much fun to think that you are affiliated with C.A.! And, I do love your latest vignette. xx P&H
