Here is the lil' peek I promised I'd share from today's thrifting adventure. Actually, this is only part of the pile of goodies I scored for my booth space.
Probably my favorite find of the day was the set of six parfait cups. They are in mint condition and incredibly charming.
I love the detail of the harp design on the stems, don't you? I can just picture them filled with berries, or sorbet, or ice cream.
I'm pulling a late nighter (an early morning?) tonight, painting a couple of new large pieces for my booth, polishing some vintage silver and pricing my latest goodies. It may sound like I'm a crazy woman to some of you, but this is a fun way for me to spend an evening. I go to sleep feeling happy and content and oh-so-grateful that I have been given the gift of opportunity to follow my bliss.

SO JEALOUS!!! I found your blog a couple months ago and love every second I have spent reading it! I used to have a booth space at a shop, but it was more about actually 'making' stuff; and while I like crafty, I like to hunt like you do. I eventually closed up shop.
What I LOVE to do is FIND things. And wonder endlessly about the person who owned it before I did. I have developed quite a bad habit (seeing as how I don't need more stuff) of trolling my neighborhood thrifty spots a couple times a week. Maybe once have I left empty handed. It seems I need to find an antique mall to make my habit a profitable one. ;)
Anyway.
I think you're incredibly inspiring, in more ways than one, and hope to keep reading about your adventures for a long time to come...and I love a double post!!! :D
Keep doing what you love,
~Kori

I am loving your blog and love to "eye-buy" from your booth at Camas. This time, however, I was wondering if you'll sell me those darling dessert dishes! It looks incredibly like a pattern I had a few pieces of back in the 60's. CAN I BUY THEM? PLEASE, PLEASE?????? My email is mstrawn@olemiss.edu

Sometimes I'm sloooow. I just re-looked at your booth space and the painted letters. You're right, they don't pop, however I think it isn't just the color contrast, but the combination of letter heights.Of course, this is just my opinion, but I usually LOVE everything you do.
