Er...trying to stay focused, I should say. Ever since I had the talk with myself in the bubble bath the other night, I have been putting into action the plan to get myself into some sort of a routine, and..it's working.
You see, I am so easily sidetracked..by anything that might catch my attention (the computer) or my eye (something I forgot I had and just rediscovered in a newly opened box) that I am now scheduling my time so that I am sure to get my booth stocked fully, my blog posts where I want them, and my priorities straight. And, guess what? I'm actually beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel!
Last night I completed this vintage chair and vintage picture frame for my booth (they'll be arriving at Camas Antiques late tomorrow.) It's funny how organization can bring about peace of mind.
*sigh* Such a good feeling.

I came to drool over the yummy baby and you already have a new post for us. gotta love it. Bob? your friends want to know

Right with you on this one. There is a real difference in our house since we scheduled ourselves a little more...

Those two pieces look great together! Will you give us a glimpse into your schedule sometime? You seem to accomplish so much.

Inspiring idea! We can all use a little schedule-refining.
When will we see photos of the 'new' Camas space?! Can't wait!!!

This chair is lovely. It's so funny, because about 30 years ago my first born was given a miniture (of what I could swear is a replica of the one you posted)for her first birthday. It had belonged to one of my mother's clients who collects antiques. The chair actually has the sweetest neddle pointed seat.

I sure wish I lived near you to see your booth, what great treasures you have!

Good for you Tracey. It's hard enough when you haven't moved to stay on track, but moving from one state to another..then moving during the holidays? Girlfriend you are amazing! Good job.

Tracey your post brought back such a happy time in my life I decided to post about my daughter's little chair that I wrote about in my previous comment. I hope you don't mind that I linked my post to your blog.

You seem really organized to me! You have been through a lot and accomplished a lot!

It's amazing how much stress disorganization causes. I'm retiring, soon and I can't wait to devote time to organizing my life.
I love the chair. Do you know the name of the design?

I'm glad that I am not the only one that gets distracted. I too am being more disciplined with myself regarding focus.
I love your blog and come here often. It's such a treat to my eyes and soothes my soul.
Your grandchildren are beautiful.
Do you have an online shop?

I think that getting easily distracted is a sign of a creative mind, at least that is what I tell myself. Plus, look at all of the areas you are juggling - - - work, Camas Antiques ( tracking down and fofooing pieces), baking, and your blog . Wow ! That is a lot. It probably is the equivalent of 2 plus some full time jobs. Plus, your personal life needs attending to, like your family and Bob. Be easier on yourself. There is a reason for the saying "If you want to get the job done, ask a busy person." - Holley

Whoa - I had that chair years ago too, with a needlepoint seat. It was my mother-in-law's. I guess my ex-husband still has it, or maybe you do!!! =] It looks great!

one step at a time... you are making a wonderful new life for yourself... soon enough... it will all come naturally. We are all in awe. Now I need to go do the same thing!
