My yard is a disaster right now. My carpenter was building a deck when yesterday he discovered my drainage pipes were collapsed. So now he must fix that. Otherwise my deck would be ready to show. Don't know if I'll make it. But I'll try!

I LOVE furniture outside and have some I'd like to paint and use out there. BUT I am wondering, how do you weatherproof it? What do you do to make it stand the elements for a fewe yrs anyway?? Is there a certain topcoat I should use? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
