I sure do. This chair began life with a pecan kind of colored stain, which made all of the details hard to see, and it looked outdated to me. I reinvented it with a creamy beige paint and lots of antiquing. The Sewing Queen created the fabulous oh-so-French looking pillows (with feather inserts no less!) and the end result was even more charming than I had hoped for. (I had to keep going back and looking at it all evening after it was completed, just to enjoy it's beauty!)
If you have a piece of furniture that feels outdated, think about painting it for a brand new look. It's easy and it's inexpensive!

LOVE it!!! I just love your style...in fact I just got a steal on a round table for my breakfast nook and I am going to paint black....any advice? This is my 1st "real" paining makeover project....also I have a childs hutch that was my mom's that my 92 yr. old grandfather made for her that I have stripped but now I am thinking I would like to do the white/antiqued look you do..could you please tell me how to do that and what colors you use? Thanks!! Can't wait to see your next creations!!! ;)

It is amazing what paint can do...I am not surprized that you would go back and look at it again. The chair is fab...great job!
We painted my antique dressers (family pieces) black last summer they look so great...my husband was smiling while painting them they looked so different.
Great pillows too, love the button detail.

Just beautiful! What a transformation. I'm not sure I would have seen the potential in that before chair, but I'm so glad you did!

What a difference a can of paint can make. That chair went from drab to fab!!! I love the fabric you chose for the seat cover and those accent pillows are beautiful!

It's absolutely gorgeous. As are all of the pieces you paint! Years ago, you could buy antiqueing kits....how do you antique yours? Would love to know.

Gorgeous! Such pretty details on the chair. And I like how the Sewing Queen used that jute webbing on the pillow. Are these keepers for you? Or are you releasing the beauty into the world for someone else?

I just read your prayer post. I tell ya, it was exactly what I needed. Time to get off my pity pot and thank God again for what I Do have, not cry about what I don't have. And I have often wandered myself what people are doing right now that don't know Jesus?

Love it! Can you share what color/product you used for creamy-beige?

I used Behr Brand paint in eggshell finish. The color is called "toasted cashew".

Oh, my! That *is* gorgeous! I've got several chairs waiting for that very same treatment. And have been waiting for at least a year. You've inspired me. Now somebody needs to motivate me. LOL
