*sigh* This is the sweetest chandelier I have ever laid my eyes on. I bought it from another wonderful blogger who was in the process of redoing her son's room and was looking to sell it.
We had great visions of hanging it in Peanut Roberts nursery, right over the crib, but, now that it has arrived safely, we have discovered and confirmed, once and for all, that there is no way to wire in a ceiling fixture in this incredibly high ceiling of the Peanut's nursery, nor is there a good spot to swag the beautiful piece by adding more chain and cord, because it would be a ridiculous amount of chain going across the incredibly high ceiling and swagging down to a plug in. Please don't email me with ideas of how to make this work in his room, because, believe me, we have checked and tried it all, to no avail.
I don't usually do things like this, but it's such a treasure. Our loss may be someone else's gain. I paid $375 plus shipping, and am willing to sell it for the same price, all through PayPal with your check or credit card. (this beauty is worth a whole lot more than that!!) If you're interested in the chandelier, please email me at : info@acottageindustry.com .
*edited to add* Thanks for all of the emails. It's sold.

Oh it is soooooo wonderful! I really wish I had a place for it.

Is that the "snakes and snails and puppy dog tails" rhyme stenciled around the wall of the nursery? How sweet!

That's an awesome find...I know you hate to part with in. You have a sweet baby's room too! Love that Carolina blue!!! (winks) Passed across someone's blog the other day called The Lamp Lady (maybe?). She might be interested if she collects. Inviting you over to my STIM-A-LA-TIN PARTY. http://confessionsofa40-somethingmamaqueen.blogspot.com/
Have a great weekend!

That chandelier is so adorable and so unique, I bet you will be able to sell that easily. Maybe Craigslist? I'm always doing searches for chandeliers on craigslist.

Tracey, I saw a chandelier like that two years ago in a local thrift shop, and passed it by because they had it priced at $350. And it didn't look half as good as yours - so that's an AWESOME steal of a deal you've got for sale!

What a cute room!! Oh please show us more of that room...I love the paint color the text below the crown moulding and all the glorious creativeness that the sneak peak of the room reveals. Is that text stenciled on by hand all the way around the room?

Tracey,
Please email me, dmjtjb2003@yahoo.com I'm interested if you still have it! For what-ever reason, my computer won't let me email you by clicking on your "email me". Thanks, Marion

Worried, where are you?
Posted by: Debe | October 12, 2008 at 07:36 PM
I so wish I had space for that balloon!! I have a huge collection of balloons and that one would be the winner. I have been a commercial balloon pilot and balloons still find their way to my collection even though I don't fly any longer:(. I'll just continue to drool and be happy for the new owner/pilot. terri
