A couple of new handbags

Purse_place_cards_018    Look what I found at Michaels when I was picking up supplies for the wedding! They're little picture frames, but...well, you know me...I think they will make incredible place card holders on my little kitchen table. There were 7 different styles. I bought the 2 that went the best with my decor, but the rest of them were darling too.
Now, the next time I have a friend over for Sunday brunch (or an early supper after an afternoon of shopping?), we can enjoy these adorable little details.

Wouldn't they make darling favors at a bridal shower, a luncheon, or a tea party?  Use them as place cards first, and a take away favor when guests leave. Heck, they're so cute, I think I might have to use the "me" one when I set the table for just myself.
Oh, and the best part? They're only $2.99 before you use a coupon for a discount.

*sigh* They are just too cute for words.

Oh, Tracey those are just adorable. I'll look at the Michael's near me for them! Thanks!

Michael's is getting better stuff in lately. I found the cutest little cherub wall hanging and bright colored note cards with a black chandelier on them in the dollar bin the other day.
You're frames are darling!

You find the cutest things, and then make them even cuter!! I love the "me" and "you"!

Hi Tracey,

I'm a huge fan of your blog. I also love to make cupcakes. I use a pastry bag to frost them and I was wondering what tip you used on your double chocolate cupcakes to get that wavy effect in your previous post.

You're beautiful inside and out and your blog never fails to inspire! Keep up the good work!!

Hi Tracey - I've done the same thing with cute little frames. So cheap and adds just the right touch!
Happy Wednesday girl. You makin' any cupcakes today? :)

How cute. I love the idea of using it at your place setting. . . even if it's just you!! Why not make it special for yourself too? You do for everyone else.

You daughter is sure blessed to have such a "hands on" momma. . . helping to get all the details right for the wedding!

Blessings,

Sher

You are so creative. I would have never thought to use them that way!

I can't wait to get into Michaels when they vist the US next month! People think i'm crazy when I tell them the things on my "sightseeing" list!

L-O-V-E them!!!

Those are adorable! You find some of the absolute best things.

I love your blog and have been reading it for a while now.....the color on your walls pictured here.....what is it? I keep trying to mimic and either turns out too blue or too greeny....I am a fellow cupcake lover too!

I guess I should be more specific, the color on the title page?

Beautiful little purses, and I love the idea of using them as placecards! They would be great favors to take away from a gathering...creative woman, you are!

So cute Tracey!

Hi again, I took a run to Michael's yesterday and found the lovely frames. They are even better in person! I would never have thought that Michael's would have such goodies!

Lynne

Very cute design (with a hint of classical style). And very good that you found this at Michaels. They offer some good prices from the few times I've visited them.
