Seven things
Happy Leap day! I've been tagged by Tracy at Plumcute Designs for a game. Here are the rules:
The rules of this little adventure are as follows:
1. When tagged, place the name of the person and URL on your blog
2. Post the rules on your blog
3. Write 7 things about yourself
4. Name 7 of your favorite weblogs
5. Send an e-mail letting those bloggers know they have been tagged
OK, now for the 7 things about myself...
1. I've wanted to be a writer since I was in elementary school.
2. I'm one of those people that strangers are drawn to talk to...in grocery store lines, at the fabric store, garage sales, thrift stores, the Post Office....
3. I am very messy in my workroom. I can (and often do) go through more than 30 pieces of paper when creating the template for a project,(like invitations, place cards, etc) trying to get things exactly the way I want them, before being able to actually do the project.
4. I hate to be late. To anything.
5.I sing, out loud, a lot, when I'm alone. In the car... At home. (I love to sing the old Mary Tyler Moore Show theme song ...it's kind of my own personal theme song)
6. I love, love, love Friday afternoons and evenings. About noon on Fridays I begin to feel buoyantly happy. Giddy almost. Seriously.
7. When I go to work and it's really cold outside, I leave my dogs inside the house, and I leave my TV on during the day for them. Not that I think they watch it, but, I think the background noise makes them feel like I'm home.(Although I do think Moose is partial to the food network)
As for the 7 of my favorite weblogs...
Can't do it. Waaaaay too many great ones. Consider yourself tagged, read the rules above, and play along if you like, by sharing in my comments area!
Hi Tracey!!
Love your list. I love the Mary theme song.
I can just picture dogs watching the food network.
Have a great weekend,
Rosemary

I leave the tv on for my dog too! I put on the Animal Planet channel and then I set the timer for the tv to turn off after 3 hours. I'm glad I'm not the only one to do this! When it's really cold, I put him on the couch and wrap a blanket around him too...spoiled little dog!

Oh, Tracey - you sound like a fun person and someone I'd like to hang out with!
Funny girl with a sense of humor.
Happy Friday!

Strangers approach me all the time too! I was just at the grocery store and talked to a woman I didn't know for about oh, 10 minutes. She was really sweet.
And my friend leaves the TV on for her dog all the time! I used to tease her about it...

Oh Tracey,
I just read the words to the MTM theme song. It is sooooo you. Just perfect!!!
Yup people do have to talk to you. First time I met you I had to talk to you...and I knew you were my friend. It was at a JL prov meeting in the office with the low ceiling, remember, hahaha!!!
Love ya,

I am with you on the tardiness. I can't stand to be even one minute late and will call to let someone know I am running two minutes behind. Some find it odd, I just think it is polite.
Loved the MTM Show and the theme is a great one.

I got a kick out of Moose liking the Food Network. My little dog would sit and watch Magnum P.I. every afternoon with my son when he was in high school. Never failed, he didn't even have to call her, AND - she only came for Magnum. If he watched something else, she wasn't interested. Now, whether she liked Tom Selleck or his Ferrari, we have not determined!! LOL

Look at you living your childhood dream - you are a wonderful writer!! When you publish a book, I'll be in line to buy it!
My golden retriever, Jessie, is an NPR girl when I'm away from home. Silly pet owners...
Best,
Lisa

I'm one of those people who strangers talk to *all* the time. I really want to know why?!...at least now I know I'm not alone :)
