I love pretty table settings, and includes pretty napkin rings and place card holders! They inspire me to create wonderful table scapes!
Today I thought I'd share with you some of my favorites that I have collected over the years. Most of them I have had for fifteen years or more. They never go out of style, and that's why they're such a good thing to have on hand.
I have plain white ceramic vase style napkin rings that can be dolled up with ivy, or flowers, or holly, or even glittery faux poinsettia's, depending on the season and the formality I am after...
Think of all you can do with these....I have antique silverware handles that have been crafted into dressy rings...
I have these darling ceramic carrots (I've had them for about 20 years now!) that are perfect for any garden theme tablescape, and for a cheery Easter time meal too....oh, I am inspired for spring to hurry up and get here now!
For breakfasts, or lunch, or when it's just me (yes! I set the table for myself, don't you? If you don't you should.)I have these sweet little tea pots...
OK, I cheated on this last one. It's a WalMart Christmas ornament.
I changed out the ribbon and I tie it on the napkin...still one of my favorites...and oh, so inspiring.

Simply Gorgeous Tracey! Makes me want to start my own collection!

They are all soooo wonderful but the ones made of antique silverware are to die for! When I was in middle school a long, looooong time ago, it was fashionable to wear rings made from silverware. So beautiful and timeless!

As usual, Tracey, just beautiful! I like the carrots and the Wal-Mart one, and I like the vase and the old silverware...did I miss anything? Although it's very seldom just me, I do set the table every night for my hubby and boys. We do cloth napkins and the whole bit. I used plastic glittered snowflakes for napkin rings for a winter brunch, just tied them onto sheer white ribbon. It was pretty!

Oooh! I just love visiting you! But WHY did you wait til AFTER Christmas to show us that one beautiful napkin ring?!! Oh, well. I bet I can make one by shopping for some old chandelier baubles, huh? I visit you several times a day because I love your ideas and can't wait to see what you have written next. If you EVER write a book, I want a copy!!!!! Have a GREAT day!

Tracey,
I am a huge table linen freak and of course that includes napkin rings. Love them all! Did the Sewing Queen make the napkin that is with the teapot? I bought all the fabric like that that my Wal-Mart had.
You are my hero by the way! Loved your top 2007 projects post.

I love the Walmart ornament turned into napkin ring! I'm a huge fan of crystals & anything sparkly. I'm also a fan of creating my own napkin rings, so I like how you think!

My goal this year is to reduce paper consumption and start using cloth napkins. I think I need to head out and find some beautiful napkin rings. Maybe that will keep me inspired. :)
PS- The silver handles are my favorites. I may have to head out to the thrift store for supplies and make some.
