Virtual Holiday Home Tour

Holiday_home_tour_12_07_3
Have you ever been on a Holiday Home Tour? We have one here in the biggest little city each year. It's called "Home for the Holidays". You are given a map and you get to walk through several homes all dolled up for Christmas. They serve refreshments and the money charged for the tour goes to charity. It's always such fun.
I also love peeking in and seeing what all of my friends are doing to decorate their homes during the Christmas season, so...I've decided to host an online version of a holiday home tour. Sound fun? You're invited to join in and be on the tour!
We can start right here with my cottage, and  you're invited to showcase your holiday decor, your porch, your living room, whatever..any and all the rooms of your home!(I'll have links to other participating blogs...er...homes, and refreshments!)

Christmas_002_2    Here's how it will work:  I want you to have enough notice, so I thought we could do this next Wednesday, December 19th. Oh, and please feel free to use my graphic to share the news!
If you send me a jpeg of your home (just one picture) before next Wednesday, December 19th, along with the link to your Blog, then next Wednesday I'll be more than happy to put you on the list on my blog with links for the tour. (Of course, you can join the tour without sending me a photo if you don't feel like it...everybody's welcome!)
Share pictures with us of your holiday home, inside, and out, on your Blog post next Wednesday. I know some of us have already shared a few Christmas decorations, but that's OK, we can still showcase our homes, and I think it will be inspiring and fun. (I know there is plenty you haven't seen of my holiday decor at my cottage!)
If no one is up for this...then it will be a very short tour. (but I am willing to bet that quite a few of you are game and have such fabulous things to share!)

Please add me to the list...

What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace (Agnes M. Pharo).

Enjoy the Season, dear Tracey...

Dear Tracey,

Please forgive my misspelling of your name. I know how it is to have a name that is constantly misspelled (Christi can be spelled so many ways), so I am usually more careful about that... chalk it up to being on my computer at midnight (I'm in Central Time Zone).

:-)

I'd love to join you! I'll have it all photographed and posted by Wednesday. What a fabulous idea!! Thanks for doing this!

What a great idea! Your tour is known even here in Sweden.

I'll be participating in the tour on Wednesday, too. I'll also have some of our favorite Christmas recipes to share if anyone is interested.

Count us in- This sounds lovely!
