Another Tumbleweed Cotillion update!
Here are the dear little press kits I've been hand delivering to the local newspaper, magazines and television stations.
I think they came out pretty charming, and will get our message across!
The plan of attack was this: If the cuteness of the folder doesn't entice you, maybe a cupcake will.
Think it will work?

Sweet girl, yummy food ALWAYS works!!! Such a smart, smart idea...xxoo, Dawn

The care and love you put into EVERYTHING you do is so inspiring to me! These lovely irresistable goodies, so pleasingly presented, are sure to motivate even the most jaded journalist! Why oh why can't I be a member of the press there :o) This event is going to be a smashing success!! Wish I lived closer!!

I have a blog - it's kind of a publication - in need of a press kit. *big wink*
Beautiful, creative idea. You're amazing. Only a person with ice water running through their veins wouldn't be touched and moved by this gift.

How cute! I wish that I lived in Reno. If I were retired, I'd make it to the cotillion.

Hi Tracey~
I was wondering if I could pick your brain a little about Tumble Weed? How did you ocme up with the idea? You mention you made up little press kits and gave them to the newspapers, magazines, tv stations...did it work? How far in advance did you deliver? I am thinking about doing something like that (well, just me, a storefront for rent if the owner will rent it to me only on the weekends of the local antique fair..see, big plans, I just need to muster up the courage to ask...).
