The ultimate symbol of Autumn, in a way.
Oh yes. I have 'em everywhere during the fall season. Inside, outside, real, faux. Shades of orange to pearly whites. I know I've shared this a while back, but I simply love this old Fitz and Floyd Soup tureen from about 13 years ago when my Mom had a darling little gift shop.
I found these perfectly matching mini soup bowl pumpkins years later at Big Lots for a dollar ninety nine each.(Yippee! I love a good deal almost better than anything on earth)I have eight of them.
Here are some of the set of six (I think) vintage soup bowls the new-Maid-of-Honor got at a sale up in Portland, and sent to me for the Tumbleweed Cotillion. Aren't they sweet?
Oh yes. *sigh* Pumpkins inspire me.

Your pumpkins are adorable! I love decorating with pumpkins at this time of year. ~ Lynda

I love decorating with pumpkins too. It's one of the few items we can display for three months; Sept., Oct., Nov.
I just found a burgandy pumpkin Wednesday at T.J. Maxx (love that store!) - - that I'm thrilled to have found. It goes so well with my decor. I had to buy it, it was greeting me when I entered the store LOL.
Blessings!!

Hi Tracey,
I agree that the pumpkin is the universal symbol of Fall - and yours are wonderful - LOVE all your little punkin' vignettes! Cute!! And what a bargain on the little Big Lots pumpkins - ain't a great bargain just the best!! I notice Susan Branch's book on the last photo - ahhhh - love her stuff - as an illustrator, that's what I'd love to do all day - write and draw/paint cool gift books, cookbooks, etc...someday maybe...
And yep - here in Texas Fall has finally arrived - whew! I thought it would never come! Hurray!!
Hugs,
Becky S.
PS - You blog is one of the top referers to my blog - thank you so much for adding a link to me on your site! There may be a little something special in the works as a little thank you - I'll keep you posted... :o) TTFN

Girl, is there anything that you put together that doesn't look good? Sometimes I am just in awe at even the simpliest things you do.
The basket on the chair. Simple, but SOOOO sharp. The sunflowers are in there just perfect.
You sure have an eye. If Victoria doesn't snatch your work up, they will be, well, foolish!
If you ever need a different slate to work with, feel free to come to KS!!! LOL.I will open my door for sure!
I do love pumpkins and am kicking myself for not planting some.
Thank you for sharing!
