I, too, love toile - most especially black and white. You're right - so classic and timeless. I love how it looks with the Paris style decor in my home.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Toile is one of my favourites, too. I love the way you use it to line a drawer. Great idea!

I love toile! I prefer the red and white, but all of them are lovely!

I agree. Toile is, well, perfect. I have it in nearly every room in my home. I have to say that you have been such an inspiration to me in decorating my new home. I am on the verge of painting my perfectly good, kitchen cabinet white because I just live your kitchen. I also wish I was closer to you so I could buy that pretty dresser you painted blue! Sigh. My husband, I am sure, is glad we are not closer to you. We would be broke! LOL Thanks for the inspiration. Andrea

Why yes I do. I love black and white toile. I have it in my dining room.
Love yours,

Oh wow. I have a nightstand very similar to yours. The back isn't finished and I always thought I'd have to keep it against a wall. Never thought of covering it with fabric!
How did you attach the fabric?
I LOVE your style!

Greetings!
I have enjoyed your blog for awhile....not sure how I found it. It's just lovely. And, I apologize for not sending my greetings sooner.
I just thought I'd let you know....since I think it's important to let people know when they touch our lives. Your blog persona is one that I know would translate into being someone who would be a friend. Although my blog is not anywhere near similiar to yours.....we have many of the same interests. Someday....when I finish my current journey....I shall share the rest of me via a blog. But, for the moment, just so you know I'm not some "out there chick".....this is me....

Is that wallpaper or fabric that you use to line the drawers? Absolutely a beautiful finishing touch. LOVE your blog and read it daily!

It is actually toile wallpaper. So easy to line the drawers of old pieces, and I like to finish off the backs of them as well. Try it!
