Inspiration Friday- feelin' blue

A_blue_2_2
Colors can inspire. I've shared similar photos to the one up top many, many times before. That yummy blue wall....If you don't know it by now, my current favorite color is blue. Robin's egg blue to be exact. Mmmmm, yummy color. Soothing. Warm. Welcoming. Inspiring.
I have it here and there, in every room of the entire cottage. On some walls, in the bathrooms...

Any chance you remember the name of that beautiful blue? That's the color I need for my bedroom. Love your blog! Debbie

I have a bathroom in Robin Egg blue.
My favorite color is jadite green. I have my kitchen walls in it. Well, the top half. The bottom half is beadboard painted a color called Bee's nector (cream). I have collected jadite and green depression glass for years and have my Hoosier loaded with it.(too much to be truthful). I have a touch of vintage red items in it, too.

There is just something about light green that brings a smile to my face. It is so refreshing.

My favorite color is pale yellow. I collect yellow depression glass and old yellow pottery. I use it as accents throughout the house. My kitchen is yellow and white, my living room, dining room and bathroom are blue and white with yellow accents and our room is just a hint of sage green with some yellow accents here and there. I love the robin's egg blue in your home. It's elegant and relaxing at the same time - out of the ordinary. ~Adrienne~

I am actually a robin's egg blue lover too. So soothing...

Loving the Robin's Egg Blue lately too! Not sure how to incorporate it more until we can cover the 90's traditional plaid furniture. Love the pics of your home. Lovely...
Enjoy your weekend, Elise

Love all of your blue pictures. I think that I have the same nest that you have in your bathroom. I have a lot of yellow in my home. It is a cheerful color that makes me feel good, but it is soothing at the same time.

Blue, sort of a grey-blue, was my favorite color for years, but I've kinda burned out on that. We moved recently, and that was the perfect time to make a change.
I added some rust, gold and cream accents to the blue and now the rooms look entirely different!
sort of Tuscany !!

I love the blue/green color. I also really like reds.
Have a great weekend.
Rosemary

Tracey,

How is the kitchen coming along?

My favorite color is... all of them.... greens and blues and peaches and raspberry and purple, no plum, no amethyst... I'm trying to narrow it down... really I am.

Very pretty! I love the chair in that last pic. I love robin's egg blue, I also love aqua, jadeite green, winter white, buttercream yellow, pink and a touch of black. In the "right" room - a studio, kitchen or laundry, I love red and white, retro-styled with 40s-era tablecloth prints in fruits and florals!
