With Independence Day falling mid week, we all get to celebrate that much longer. Here are a few pages from magazines past that inspire me.
Decorate indoors and out. I don't think you can possibly have too many American flags. In this case, more is more.
Oh, my! Look at this fabulous table scape!
And, how about getting the entire neighborhood in on the whole thing? I love this picture.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th, and I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Neat inspiration !!! Have a Happy Weekend :)

Our 4th celebration started as a group of 20 or so longtime friends...over the years, it has grown to well over 100. It's reliable. It's steady. You can always count on it. Decorations are plentiful and besides the fireworks by the lake, the biggest event is the horseshoe competition. Everyone's lives are so busy that get-togethers like this are few and far between. It's wonderful!
Thanks for the great pictures...enjoy the weekend...

I love the flag banner around the patio umbrella. I'll have to remember that one!

I love your pictures. For some reason I'm having a hard time letting the holiday go this year so it's nice that you extended it for me! Jen

My computer has been out of commission the past few days.
I just wanted you to know, after reading your "heartfelt" message, that I'm so happy that you are human just like the rest of us. Sometimes it takes alot of effort to keep our heads above water. We can all relate to the words in your message and in one way or another have "been there and done that".
